Snowy Eats ~ February 10th

Well, the blizzard wasn't *quite* as bad as they were making it out to be. But still, we got a lot of snow here in NY and it's not done yet! My head cold is almost gone now, but I didn't feel well last night and I went to bed really early. So that meant that I got up super early this morning (around 5 a.m.) and watched the storm develop out my window. lol At daylight this was what I saw out my window.

For breakfast I decided to make stuffed french toast... This time I used peanut butter instead of the cream cheese concoction (see here).

I used 2 pieces of Trader Joe's french toast and Skippy Natural crunchy peanut butter for something different. Then I topped it with Trader Joe's maple syrup. (I only wish I had berries, but I was out!) I also wish that I was able to finish a breakfast like this early in the morning, but alas...

For lunch I made an egg mcmuffin with a sandwich size english muffin, egg whites, and american cheese. I had some baked ruffles alongside.

For my snacks today I had...

An oatmeal raisin walnut Clif Bar (I can't figure out why the lighting is a little weird in this photo, but oh well).

And I nibbled a bit on this AMAZING chocolate bar I found at Whole Foods!

Divine's milk chocolate bar with hazelnuts! :)

For dinner I had mini wagon wheel pasta with veggies in a sauce of olive oil, sherry, and a little garlic, with parmesan cheese on top.

For my snack tonight I had a pineapple Chobani yogurt (I had forgotten how awesome this flavor is!) and a small bowl of Cheerios (I eat them dry, without milk just like you would popcorn or chips!).

Peanut was fascinated by the snow and looked out the window at it some. But he went about his day as usual...

In this last pic doesn't Peanut look like my peanut butter stuffed french toast?! :)

So far the new phone is working out great and it's surprisingly easy to use! Thanks for all the comments on the last post (and remember to check back, because I do try to answer your questions in the comments!).
