Daily Eats ~ June 9th

When Peanut was meowing (more like squeaking, because he's so small! lol) at my door this morning for me to get up, I thought it was the middle of the night! Nope, it was already 9:30. It just looked like the middle of the night because it was so dark and rainy out. I was tired though because I stayed up to see Mark Paul Gosselaar on Jimmy Fallon's show last night. He came out looking exactly like Zack Morris! It was awesome and he hasn't aged a day. Mark (aka Zack) was my first crush. I loved Saved by the Bell! (I know I'm not alone in this!!) Anyways...

Breakfast:
I had an Apple & Eve apple juice box (not pictured) with 2 Van's Belgian Waffles, Trader Joe's maple syrup, a few berries, and a dollop of Cool Whip! Yum!

Peanut by my computer this morning...

Funny story... He's really at that age (nearly 3 months) where he's getting into everything! He is so fascinated by my computer. I'm pretty sure he's a fan of my blog! :) Last night he shut off my computer by pushing a combination of buttons, and as I was typing this up he knocked over my modem! If he weren't so darn cute, he'd never be able to get away with all this! lol

Lunch:
I had Amy's Spinach Pizza in a Pocket Sandwich (this is fabulous by the way!) with one of my Peach Medley apple sauces. I was still kind of hungry, so I had my last 2 Trader Joe's Cafe Twists afterwards (not pictured).

Snack:
I had a Fage 0% yogurt, with some Trader Joe's granola, berries, and a drizzle of maple syrup.

Dinner:
For dinner tonight I had Amy's Country Cheddar Bowl (one of my favorites!) and an orange (not pictured).

Dessert:
I made my second Trader Joe's chocolate souffle tonight (they give you 2 per box and the souffles come in ceramic bowls!). I topped it with some Cool Whip and had a few strawberries alongside.

I was going through some pictures on my phone, and this is one of my favorites of baby Peanut... excuse the raggedy old pajamas. lol

Daily Eats ~ June 8th

Thanks to those who commented yesterday, I appreciate it! Before I move on to the "Daily Eats" I want  to let my reader's know more about me, so here are some random facts about me:

1. I was born in February and winter has always been my favorite season.
2. I'm a Pisces and so is Peanut. :)
3. My favorite color is purple. My second favorite is blue.
4. I am half Italian and half Polish (with a bit of German too).
5. I love all animals, but cats are my favorite. I'd like to get a dog someday too.
6. I started playing the piano when I was 6 years old.
7. I went to school at the Make Up Designory in Soho in NYC last fall.
8. My favorite actor and actress are Tom Hanks and Hilary Swank.
9. My all-time favorite TV show is The Golden Girls. (Thank God for all the re-runs!)
10. I like classical music more than any other kind of music.

Breakfast:
I had a Food For Life Ezekiel Cinnamon Raisin English Muffin topped with PB & J, with a few strawberries and some orange juice!

Lunch:
I made an Annie's single serve Mac & Cheese, added in some peas, and made the last 2 veggie dogs that I had left to go along with it... I cut up one to put into the mac & cheese, and I ate the other with ketchup.

Snack:
Just a Clif Fruit & Nut bar.

Peanut this afternoon...

Dinner:
I had an Amy's Teriyaki Wrap along with some Trader Joe's Vegetable Fried Rice (and I added a dash of low sodium soy sauce to it). I also had my usual orange after dinner (which I never bother to take a picture of for some reason!).

Snack/Dessert:
I had a Vitatop chocolate muffin with a Wallaby dark chocolate yogurt, topped with some Cool Whip and a few raspberries. For some reason, as yummy as this looks, I didn't really like it. Oh well!

So, I thought of 2 other things to add to the above list I made earlier...

11. Lately I've been obsessed with the Disney movie Enchanted. It's been on a lot and I've seen it 3 or 4 times now! I don't care that it's a kid's movie, it was darn good! lol (Anyone else love this movie?!)

12. I love Conan O'Brien and I'm happy for him getting The Tonight Show. In a way I still wish that he had his show when he did here in NY and Jay had his, but overall I'm happy I get to see him earlier every night! I don't envy him though... I also made the move from NY to LA when modeling and I hated it out there... the traffic, the endless sun in your eyes, the stupid people (sorry if I offended anyone, but have you seen Jay Leno's "Jay Walking" segment?!). I only lasted 5 months out there! God speed, Conan! lol

Again, I appreciate your comments!

Daily Eats ~ June 7th

I've been doing this blog for a whole week now and I haven't had many comments/responses... So to my more experienced bloggers out there, how do I increase traffic to my blog? Do I need to be doing something else? Please give me feedback and let me know!! Anyways, on to...

Breakfast:
I had 2 Van's Belgian Waffles topped with berries & Trader Joe's maple syrup. (I was going to add a bit of cool whip, but I forgot!) I also had an Apple & Eve apple juice box with it.

Lunch:
I had an Amy's Vegetable Pie in a Pocket Sandwich (this is one of my favorites!) with a Mott's Peach Medley apple sauce (which Peanut loves by the way!).

Snack:
I had one of the most awesome things EVER from the Whole Food's Market (the one in Chelsea to be precise)... Jelly Roll Cake! It is the perfect summer treat, and surprisingly not too bad for you either (they list ALL the ingredients on the package). Oh, and I can't eat all of this in one sitting! In fact, I threw some out, which brings me to my next point... (read below)

I want to take a minute to talk about something that happened today... I went to pick up some pictures... I had an entire roll of film starring Peanut, of course! But there was this one picture that my Mom took of Peanut sitting on my lap. Granted, it wasn't a good angle, but I looked SO fat. I really felt sick when I saw it. The first thing I thought of is that I need to start starving myself again, STAT! It's very hard for me, someone who used to be a size 0 model (at 5'9") to see myself at a "normal" size (especially since that none of my old jeans fit and I don't have the heart to buy new ones, so I'm stuck in leggings and yoga pants!). Just this morning I looked in the mirror and thought "I look pretty good." Then by afternoon I thought "I look absolutely horrible" and wanted to cry. I don't know what to do with myself sometimes... Just thought I'd share and let you guys know that it's still such a struggle for me. (For more about my story, check out my first post.)

Dinner:
I had Amy's Roasted Vegetable Lasagna. It may not look super appealing, but blame it on the picture because it tastes really good! (Also had an orange after dinner - again, not pictured)

Snack:
I got this idea from Jenny... I took a plain Fage 2% yogurt and topped it with a VitaTop chocolate muffin and some fat free Cool Whip! I also added a couple of strawberries on top (after I had already taken the picture). This is a very filling snack/dessert!

I'll end the day by sharing a photo of Peanut I took a couple of weeks ago-- since I didn't get any pics of him today! I was too busy sorting through the pictures I picked up earlier.

I'd also like to hear your thoughts on eating disorders and my earlier post today... Feel free to contact me anytime, as I like to help other people suffering with ED's. I like to think that we're all in this together... Afterall, it isn't easy being a woman these days...
