Daily Eats ~ July 13th

I was actually able to sleep in some this morning.... Mom was up with Peanut for a bit and he let us sleep for the most part. I can't believe he turns 4 months old today! Time is really flying by. I rarely show photos of me, but I took one yesterday on my MacBook's "Photo Booth," and here it is:

Note Peanut in the background-- on the wall. ;)

Breakfast:
I had a Food for Life Ezekiel Cinnamon Raisin English Muffin with PB & J, a few berries, and a glass of OJ.

Lunch:
I had an Amy's Tofu Scramble in a Pocket Sandwich with a Mott's Peach Medley apple sauce. (I also had a Trader Joe's string cheese - not pictured.)

Mom had off again today, so we went up to Bloomingdales... she's never been to 40 Carrots (the AMAZING frozen yogurt place on the 7th floor).

Snack:
I got a small plain yogurt (yes, this is a small believe it or not! lol) with melba sauce and granola. Mom got a regular sized plain with melba sauce. This really is some of, if not THE BEST frozen yogurt in NYC.

I have been here at least twice before, but I haven't been since last year, and apparently they have a new policy that you can't sit at a table unless you spend $8+ per person; so if you just want to get a frozen yogurt with one or two toppings, you can't sit at a table! I was kind of pissed off by this, but luckily we managed to find seats in the "take out"' area. The yogurt was terrific though (Mom thought so too), so it was worth it!

Dinner:
I had an Amy's Baked Ziti Bowl along with an orange.
(I also had a few bites of the cookies I got the other day after dinner because I was still pretty hungry. I just like to eat the dark chocolate chunks out of them and throw the rest away! Not pictured.)

Mom was peeling potatoes for her dinner and Peanut had to "help." After trying to eat the potatoes and their shavings, he just sat by and watched. :)

Dessert:
I had a Vitabrownie topped with Nutella, and berries and whipped cream alongside.

For his 4 month old "birthday" I let Peanut choose another beanie baby from my collection. While he liked them all, he chose a small beanie baby rabbit that I got in a McDonald's happy meal years ago. As you can see, he was having a good time with it! (Pellet the hamster is still his favorite though. lol)

I want to thank everybody for commenting. I read and appreciate each and every one! I have updated the "E-mail Me" section of the blog on the right hand side, and I'll be collecting questions to do a FAQ in the near future. So if you have any questions or comments, e-mail me at: marinajc@rcn.com.

Now, on to a "mini" rant about what's going on in my life... My Grandfather is still in the hospital, but doing better. We don't know when he'll be coming home, because his condition turned out to be more serious than the doctors originally thought. And the doctor that did the surgery isn't there now, because he went on vacation the very next day! I hope he has fun in the sun while my 85 year old Grandfather lays in a hospital bed! >:(

Speaking of doctors... I really don't like them (with the exception of Peanut's vet-- what a nice guy!). I HATE going to them, and I've had a lot of bad dealings with them. I better marry a doctor one day though, because that's the only way I'll ever be going to one! haha

That's all for today, my lovelies!

Hi Marina. Peanuts is just the cutest cat on the net. I'm always impressed at how clean bloggers' homes are. If I decided to post daily photos, it would take me two weeks of cleaning to get ready!

Oops, I meant Peanut, not Peanuts, because he's one of a kind.

Bliss Doubt ~ Thanks so much! Believe me, our apartment would not be as clean as it is if my Mom wasn't a neat freak! I'm pretty neat, but no where's near as neat as my Mom. lol

Happy "birthday" to Peanut!! You're lucky he let you sleep in - my little one still likes getting up at 6:00am, haha ;-)

Hang in there with your grandfather - I'm still praying hard!!
