**ADOPT PEANUT'S SISTER!**
I want to make a quick mention of something that's come to my attention... the woman that I got Peanut from cannot keep the one kitten that's left. She already has Peanut's mother and grandmother, and she lives in a one bedroom apartment, so she feels there isn't enough room. The kitten is orange, like Peanut, except without the white, and the kitten is a girl. So if you are in the NY area, and interested, please give me an e-mail at: marinajc@rcn.com. Believe me I wish I could take the other kitten, being that it's one of Peanut's siblings, but it would be too much for Mom and I to take on now. Again, just let me know if you're interested!
Also, I can't do this alone, so I'd appreciate it if you could spread the word on your blogs!!!
The kitten is located in Long Island, NY, but is easy to get to from most areas of NY by taking the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road). So if you know anyone that might want a kitten in the NY area, please contact them for me! :)

Breakfast:
Just a quick breakfast today... a glass of OJ and a Clif Fruit & Nut Bar. I'm going to one of my favorite vegetarian restaurants for lunch, so I want to save room!
Lunch:
I went to Dang Lai Palace, a vegetarian asian restaurant (similar to the Zen Palette that closed in Union Square-- rumor has it that the chef moved to this location, since most of the dishes are exactly the same). I used to come here all the time, because I lived right up the block from them. They are on the east side, at 3rd Ave. & 17th St.
I started with their taro spring rolls...
Then I had their steamed spinach dumplings...
And I finished with a slice of their AMAZING cheesecake.
Dinner:
I had an Amy's Country Cheddar Bowl for dinner.
I also had an orange later (not pictured).
"What's for supper, Mummy?" This is what I call the "meatloaf" position-- cats are known for sitting like this.
Dessert:
Dessert was similar to last night's, except I had a Vitatop instead of a Vitamuffin. I topped it with Nutella and had some berries with real whipped cream alongside.
Just an update on the kitten situation... the woman I adopted Peanut from is waiting on bringing the kitten to the shelter until she hears from me. I hope that there's someone out there in NY that would want this kitten. I can tell you since I've seen it, that the kitten looks exactly like Peanut, except for the white markings-- the whole litter was absolutely adorable! They were all very well taken care of, in excellent health, and the kittens were raised with their mother and grandmother (which is part of the reason why the owner can't keep the kitten-- since she has two cats already to take care of in a small apartment). So if you know of anyone who could help in this situation, please don't hesitate to contact me, as we are running out of time here! Otherwise the kitten will have to be brought to a shelter, after already living for 3 months in a home that she is used to. :(
Let me tell you, there is nothing more precious than a kitten! Peanut has been the greatest joy, and I'm sure his sister would be as well!
Baby Peanut on May 1st 2009.

i am on the hunt for the cliff mojo bar - its the only one I haven't tried yet!!
Never had a mojo bar before. I'll have to look them up and see what they're all about!
Sorry to hear about Peanut's sibling. Maxie was part of a litter that was dumped behind some bins and he was the only survivor.
i hope peanut's sister finds a great home!
mm that dessert looks fantastic! Hope that kitty finds a home!
