Daily Eats ~ June 15th

I hope everyone had a nice weekend! Mom and I spent a lot of quality time with Peanut. It's so important to cherish the kitten days, because they grow up so fast. Peanut is such a bright, sweet, loving little guy. He really is such a joy. It is kitten season, so if you want your own little Peanut, then check your local shelters, and even craigslist (where I found Peanut!), or just ask around! Peanut was completely free and the owner just wanted Peanut and his 6 other brothers and sisters (he was one of 7!) to have good homes. She kept his mother (who is named Pearl) and one other kitten (that wasn't adopted). But as cute as they are, be warned that kittens are a LOT of work because they are so needy at first and they are so frisky! Also, you need to be around a lot to take care of them, especially if you only adopt one like I did. Ok, so that's just some of what you need to know before adopting a kitten! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

Breakfast:
I had a Food For Life Cinnamon Raisin Ezekiel English Muffin with peanut butter and jelly, a few berries, and a glass of orange juice.

Lunch:
I had an Annie's single serve mac & cheese along with 2 Tofu Pups sliced up and some frozen peas. (Sorry the pic is a little blurry!)

I also had the rest of my panda cookies from yesterday after lunch. (Yes, our kitchen table is a mess! lol)

Snack:
I made a yogurt parfait with a Fage 2% peach yogurt and some of Trader Joe's low fat granola with almonds.

Peanut trying to take a nap this afternoon during a thunderstorm.

Dinner:
I had an Amy's Teriyaki Bowl with an orange.

Snack/Dessert:
I warmed up a Clif Chocolate Almond Fudge Bar in the microwave, then I topped it with Nutella and had a single strawberry with it. This was SO good.

So I just got accepted into the Foodbuzz program... yeay! I think I've finally sorted it out now on how to get the add up and running! So what have your experiences been with Foodbuzz? I'd like to hear them!

I'm trying to spend more time with my new kitty. I think she's trusting me more now, she know's I'm the one that feeds her.

Hello Marina. I just found your blog from a comment you left on another blog, and I've enjoyed the pics of Peanut very much.

It appears to me that you are using packaged meals quite a lot. I'm sure that helps you in dealing with your eating disorder, and knowing what normal servings look like.

I wish you continued success.

Rose 'n' Coffee ~ That's great to hear! Cats often will bond the most with the person that feeds them. How old is your cat?

Bliss Doubt ~ I do use a lot of packaged meals... I guess a lot of it comes down to convenience and the fact that I'm more comfortable with packaged meals.

Thanks to all guys!

Hooray for Food Buzz!! I'm pretty sure you can just copy & paste it into an html.

VeggieGirl ~ The problem is, I've tried just pasting it into the HTML and it doesn't work. So obviously it has to be pasted into a certain spot... I guess I'm just worried about screwing up the page because clearly I don't know what I'm doing! lol
